Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Drill with hole saw attachment
  • Utility knife

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location near an electrical outlet, with proper wall support and away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
  2. Prepare Window Opening: Clean window area and ensure proper measurements for the air conditioner unit.
  3. Install Mounting Brackets: Secure mounting brackets to the window sill according to manufacturer specifications.
  4. Place Air Conditioner: Carefully lift and place the air conditioner unit onto the mounting brackets.
  5. Secure Unit: Extend side panels and secure them to the window frame using provided screws.
  6. Seal Gaps: Apply weather stripping to seal any gaps between the unit and window frame to prevent air leaks.
  7. Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords.
  8. Test Operation: Turn on the air conditioner and test all functions including cooling, fan, and thermostat settings.
