Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Drill with hole saw attachment
- Vacuum pump and gauge manifold
- Torque wrench
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Pipe cutter and flaring tool
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location on a solid wall with proper clearance from obstructions and adequate drainage.
- Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Securely mount the bracket to the wall using appropriate anchors for wall type.
- Drill Wall Hole: Drill a hole through the wall for refrigerant piping, drain hose, and electrical wiring.
- Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation and flare connections.
- Connect Drain Hose: Route the drain hose with a downward slope to ensure proper water drainage.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded power supply according to local electrical codes.
- Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate air from refrigerant lines and charge with specified refrigerant amount.
- Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, heating, and fan modes.
