Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Drill with hole saw attachment
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Adjustable wrench
- Tape measure
- Vacuum pump and gauge manifold
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location near electrical outlet, with proper wall support and away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
- Prepare Window Opening: Measure and prepare window opening according to unit dimensions. Install support bracket if required.
- Install Mounting Plate: Secure mounting plate to wall using appropriate anchors and ensure it is perfectly level.
- Connect Refrigerant Lines: Connect copper refrigerant lines between indoor and outdoor units. Ensure flare connections are tight.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 220V, 50Hz circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
- Vacuum and Charge System: Evacuate air from refrigerant lines using vacuum pump, then release refrigerant charge according to specifications.
- Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and remote control operation.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit not turning on | Power issue, circuit breaker tripped, remote battery dead | Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries |
| Poor cooling performance | Dirty filters, low refrigerant, outdoor unit blocked | Clean filters, check for refrigerant leaks, clear area around outdoor unit |
| Water leaking indoors | Clogged drain pipe, improper installation angle | Clear drain pipe, ensure proper installation slope |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration | Tighten all screws, clear debris from fans, check mounting |
| Remote not working | Battery issue, signal blocked, sensor problem | Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check indoor unit sensor |
| Unit freezing up | Dirty filters, low airflow, low outdoor temperature | Clean filters, check fan operation, avoid use in very cold conditions |
