Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Small Phillips screwdriver
  • New batteries (AAA or AA, as specified)
  • Clean cloth
  • Remote control holder (optional)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote, insert batteries observing correct polarity (+/-).
  2. Pairing with AC Unit: Point remote at AC unit, press and hold "SET" or "PAIR" button for 5 seconds until indicator light flashes.
  3. Code Setup (Universal Models): Enter manufacturer code for your AC brand using code list provided in manual.
  4. Test Functions: Test power on/off, temperature adjustment, mode selection, and fan speed controls.
  5. Mounting (Optional): Install wall mount bracket using provided screws, ensuring clear line of sight to AC unit.
  6. Initial Configuration: Set clock, temperature units (°C/°F), and default settings as preferred.
  7. Final Check: Verify all functions operate correctly from various room locations.
Warning: Use only recommended battery types. Do not mix old and new batteries. Keep remote dry and away from heat sources.
