Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Refrigerant manifold gauge set
- Vacuum pump
- Leak detector
- Multimeter
- Tube cutter and bender
- Flaring tool set
- Torque wrench
Step-by-Step Installation
- Site Preparation: Select installation location with proper clearance (minimum 30cm from walls) and adequate structural support.
- Mounting Bracket Installation: Securely install wall mounting bracket using appropriate anchors for wall type.
- Indoor Unit Installation: Mount indoor unit on bracket, ensuring proper leveling for condensate drainage.
- Refrigerant Line Connection: Connect copper refrigerant lines using flare fittings, ensuring proper torque specifications.
- Electrical Connection: Connect power supply according to local electrical codes, ensuring proper grounding.
- Drain Line Installation: Install condensate drain line with proper slope (minimum 1% grade) and trap.
- Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system to 500 microns, then charge with specified refrigerant amount.
- System Testing: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and thermostat operation.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit not turning on | Power supply issue, blown fuse, faulty remote | Check circuit breaker, replace fuse, test remote batteries |
| Poor cooling performance | Dirty filters, low refrigerant, blocked condenser | Clean filters, check refrigerant charge, clear condenser area |
| Water leakage | Clogged drain line, improper installation slope | Clear drain line, ensure proper drainage slope |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, compressor issues | Tighten mounting hardware, clear debris, check compressor |
| Frozen evaporator coil | Low airflow, low refrigerant, dirty filters | Check fan operation, verify refrigerant charge, clean filters |
| Error codes displayed | Sensor failure, communication error, system fault | Refer to error code chart, check sensors and connections |
Common Error Codes
- E1: Room temperature sensor failure - Check sensor connection
- E2: Evaporator temperature sensor failure - Replace sensor if needed
- E3: Communication error - Check wiring between indoor/outdoor units
- E4: High pressure protection - Check condenser airflow and refrigerant
- E5: Low pressure protection - Check for leaks and refrigerant charge
- E6: Compressor overload - Check voltage and compressor condition
- E7: Fan motor error - Check fan motor and capacitor
- E8: Four-way valve error - Check valve operation and wiring
