Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Drill with hole saw attachment
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Vacuum pump and gauge manifold
  • Pipe cutter and flaring tool

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper wall support, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, with adequate clearance for airflow.
  2. Install Mounting Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using appropriate anchors and ensure it is perfectly level.
  3. Prepare Wall Opening: Cut a hole in the wall for the refrigerant lines, drain hose, and electrical wiring according to specifications.
  4. Connect Refrigerant Lines: Connect the indoor and outdoor units with copper refrigerant lines, ensuring proper insulation and flare connections.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 220V, 50Hz circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
  6. Drainage Setup: Install the condensate drain hose with proper slope away from the unit to ensure water drainage.
  7. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate air and moisture from the system using a vacuum pump, then charge with refrigerant according to specifications.
  8. Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and remote control operation.
Warning: Installation must be performed by certified HVAC technicians to ensure safety, proper operation, and maintain warranty coverage.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not turning on Power outage, circuit breaker tripped, remote control batteries dead Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, blocked airflow, incorrect temperature setting Clean filters, clear obstructions, set appropriate temperature
Water leaking indoors Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope Clear drain pipe, ensure proper drainage slope
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration Tighten components, clear debris, check mounting stability
Frozen indoor unit Dirty filters, low refrigerant, fan malfunction Clean filters, check refrigerant charge, inspect fan motor
Remote not working Dead batteries, signal obstruction, sensor issue Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check sensor

Error Codes

  • E1: Room temperature sensor failure - Check sensor connection
  • E2: Pipe temperature sensor failure - Check sensor connection
  • E3: Communication error - Check wiring between indoor/outdoor units
  • E4: High pressure protection - Check for blocked condenser
  • E5: Low pressure protection - Check for refrigerant leak
  • E6: Compressor overload - Allow unit to cool down
