Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Refrigeration manifold gauge set
  • Vacuum pump
  • Torque wrench
  • Flaring tool
  • Tube cutter
  • Level
  • Multimeter

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper clearance (minimum 30cm from walls and ceilings) on a solid, level floor.
  2. Mount Indoor Unit: Install mounting plate securely to wall, ensuring it is perfectly level. Hang indoor unit on plate.
  3. Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on a stable, level surface with proper vibration isolation pads.
  4. Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units using proper flaring techniques. Ensure connections are airtight.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect power cables according to wiring diagram. Ensure proper grounding and circuit breaker installation.
  6. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system using vacuum pump for minimum 30 minutes. Charge with specified refrigerant type and quantity.
  7. Test Run: Power on system and test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and thermostat operation.
Warning: Installation must be performed by certified HVAC technicians only. Improper installation may void warranty and create safety hazards.

Air circulation only with multiple speed settings (Low, Medium, High, Auto)

Auto Mode

Intelligent mode that automatically selects cooling or heating based on room temperature

Sleep Mode

Gradually adjusts temperature and reduces fan speed for comfortable sleeping conditions

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not turning on Power outage, circuit breaker tripped, remote control batteries dead Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, blocked airflow, refrigerant leak, outdoor unit obstructed Clean filters, clear obstructions, check for leaks, clear area around outdoor unit
Water leaking indoors Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope, frozen evaporator Clear drain pipe, ensure proper slope, check for ice buildup
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration from unstable mounting Tighten all screws, clear debris, ensure secure mounting
Foul odors Dirty filters, mold growth in drain pan, accumulated dust Clean/replace filters, clean drain pan, use auto clean function
Remote not working Dead batteries, signal obstruction, remote sensor issue Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check indoor unit sensor

Error Codes

  • E0: Room temperature sensor error - Check sensor connection
  • E1: Indoor unit PCB error - Contact service center
  • E2: Outdoor unit communication error - Check wiring connections
  • E3: High pressure protection - Clean outdoor unit, check refrigerant
  • E4: Low pressure protection - Check for refrigerant leaks
  • E5: Compressor overload - Allow unit to cool, check voltage
  • E6: Communication error between units - Check interconnecting wiring
  • E7: Outdoor fan motor error - Check fan motor and capacitor
