Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Drill with hole saw attachment
- Vacuum pump and manifold gauge
- Torque wrench
- Level
- Pipe cutter and flaring tool
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
Step-by-Step Installation
- Select Installation Location: Choose a location for both indoor and outdoor units with proper clearances and structural support.
- Mount Indoor Unit: Install mounting plate on wall, ensuring it is level and secure. Leave space for air circulation and maintenance.
- Install Outdoor Unit: Place on stable, level surface with proper vibration isolation pads. Ensure adequate clearance for airflow.
- Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Run insulated copper pipes between units. Use proper bending techniques to avoid kinks.
- Electrical Connection: Connect power supply to outdoor unit and control wiring between indoor and outdoor units following local electrical codes.
- Vacuum and Charge System: Evacuate air and moisture from refrigerant lines, then charge with specified amount of refrigerant.
- Test Operation: Run system through all modes to check for proper cooling, heating, and drainage operation.
