Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Drill with hole saw attachment
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Pipe cutter
- Vacuum pump
- Manifold gauge set
- Tape measure
- Torque wrench
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper wall support, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, with adequate clearance for airflow.
- Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using appropriate anchors and ensure it is perfectly level.
- Drill Wall Hole: Drill a 70mm hole through the wall at a slight downward angle to the outside for proper drainage.
- Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on a stable, level surface with proper vibration pads and adequate clearance (minimum 30cm on all sides).
- Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation and flare connections.
- Connect Electrical Wiring: Connect power cables following local electrical codes and manufacturer specifications.
- Connect Drainage Pipe: Install drainage pipe with proper slope (minimum 1% gradient) to ensure water flows away from the unit.
- Vacuum and Charge System: Evacuate air and moisture from the system using a vacuum pump, then charge with specified refrigerant amount.
- Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and drainage system.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit not turning on | Power issue, remote control batteries dead, circuit breaker tripped | Check power supply, replace remote batteries, reset circuit breaker |
| Poor cooling performance | Dirty filters, low refrigerant, blocked airflow | Clean filters, check refrigerant charge, clear obstructions around unit |
| Water leaking indoors | Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope | Clear drain pipe, ensure proper drainage slope |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration | Tighten mounting screws, clean fan blades, check installation stability |
| Frozen evaporator | Dirty filters, low refrigerant, restricted airflow | Clean filters, check refrigerant level, ensure proper airflow |
| Remote not working | Dead batteries, signal obstruction, sensor issue | Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check indoor unit sensor |
