Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Vacuum pump with gauge manifold
  • Refrigerant charging scale
  • Tubing cutter and flaring tool
  • Torque wrench
  • Level
  • Drill with hole saw
  • Leak detector

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper clearances (minimum 30cm from walls), away from heat sources, and with adequate drainage.
  2. Install Mounting Plate: Securely mount the indoor unit bracket to a solid wall using appropriate anchors and ensure it is perfectly level.
  3. Create Wall Opening: Drill a 70mm hole through the wall for refrigerant piping, drainage, and electrical connections.
  4. Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units using flare connections. Ensure proper insulation on pipes.
  5. Connect Drainage: Install drain hose with proper downward slope (minimum 1/100 gradient) to ensure water drainage.
  6. Electrical Connection: Connect power cables according to local electrical codes. Ensure proper grounding and circuit protection.
  7. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate the system to remove moisture and air, then charge with the specified amount of R32 refrigerant.
  8. Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and remote control operation.
Warning: Installation must be performed by certified HVAC technicians only. Improper installation can cause serious injury, property damage, and void warranty.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not turning on Power outage, circuit breaker tripped, remote battery dead Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, blocked airflow, incorrect temperature setting Clean filters, remove obstructions, set appropriate temperature
Water leaking indoors Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope Clean drain pipe, ensure proper downward slope of drainage
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration from mounting Tighten all fasteners, clean fan blades, check mounting stability
Frozen indoor unit Dirty filters, low refrigerant, fan motor issue Clean filters, check refrigerant charge, inspect fan motor
Remote not working Battery issue, signal obstruction, sensor problem Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check remote sensor

Error Codes

  • CH/OJ: Communication error between indoor and outdoor units
  • E1/E2: Room temperature sensor error
  • F1/F2: Coil temperature sensor error
  • P1/P4: High/low pressure protection
