Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Vacuum pump with gauge manifold
- Refrigerant charging scale
- Tubing cutter and flaring tool
- Torque wrench
- Level
- Drill with hole saw
- Leak detector
Step-by-Step Installation
- Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper clearances (minimum 30cm from walls), away from heat sources, and with adequate drainage.
- Install Mounting Plate: Securely mount the indoor unit bracket to a solid wall using appropriate anchors and ensure it is perfectly level.
- Create Wall Opening: Drill a 70mm hole through the wall for refrigerant piping, drainage, and electrical connections.
- Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units using flare connections. Ensure proper insulation on pipes.
- Connect Drainage: Install drain hose with proper downward slope (minimum 1/100 gradient) to ensure water drainage.
- Electrical Connection: Connect power cables according to local electrical codes. Ensure proper grounding and circuit protection.
- Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate the system to remove moisture and air, then charge with the specified amount of R32 refrigerant.
- Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and remote control operation.
