Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Vacuum pump with gauge manifold
- Refrigerant charging scale
- Tubing cutter and flaring tool
- Torque wrench
- Multimeter
- Level
- Drill with hole saw
Step-by-Step Installation
- Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper clearance (minimum 15cm from ceiling, 30cm from walls) on a solid wall that can support the unit's weight.
- Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Securely mount the mounting plate to the wall using appropriate anchors, ensuring it is perfectly level.
- Drill Wall Hole: Drill a 70mm hole through the wall with a slight downward slope to the outside for proper drainage.
- Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation on both pipes. Flare connections properly.
- Connect Drain Hose: Install drain hose with proper downward slope (minimum 1/100 gradient) to ensure water drainage.
- Electrical Connection: Connect power cables according to local electrical codes. Ensure proper grounding and correct voltage (220-240V, 50Hz).
- Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate the system using a vacuum pump for at least 15 minutes, then charge with specified amount of R32 refrigerant.
- Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and remote control operation.
