Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench set
  • Voltage tester
  • Drill with hole saw attachment
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Tape measure
  • Vacuum pump and gauge manifold

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper clearance (minimum 30cm on all sides), away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
  2. Prepare Mounting Surface: Ensure wall is strong enough to support unit weight (minimum 150kg capacity).
  3. Install Mounting Plate: Secure mounting plate to wall using provided hardware, ensuring it is perfectly level.
  4. Create Wall Opening: Cut appropriate hole in wall for refrigerant lines and drainage (typically 70mm diameter).
  5. Connect Refrigerant Lines: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation on suction line.
  6. Electrical Connection: Connect to dedicated circuit with proper breaker (typically 20A, 220V). Follow local electrical codes.
  7. Drainage Connection: Install drain hose with proper downward slope (minimum 1cm per meter) to ensure proper water drainage.
  8. Vacuum and Charge System: Evacuate air from refrigerant lines using vacuum pump for minimum 15 minutes, then release refrigerant charge.
  9. Test Operation: Run unit in cooling and heating modes to verify proper operation and check for leaks.
Warning: Installation must be performed by certified HVAC technician. Improper installation may void warranty and create safety hazards.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not turning on Power outage, tripped breaker, remote control batteries dead Check power supply, reset breaker, replace remote batteries
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, blocked vents, low refrigerant, outdoor unit obstructed Clean filters, clear obstructions, check refrigerant level
Water leaking indoors Clogged drain line, improper installation slope, frozen evaporator Clear drain line, ensure proper slope, check for ice buildup
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, compressor issues Tighten mounting hardware, clear debris, contact technician
Frozen evaporator coil Dirty filters, low refrigerant, restricted airflow Clean filters, check refrigerant charge, ensure proper airflow
Remote not working Dead batteries, signal obstruction, sensor issues Replace batteries, clear line of sight, check sensor

Error Codes

  • E0: Room temperature sensor error - Check sensor connection
  • E1: Indoor coil temperature sensor error - Check sensor
  • E2: Outdoor coil temperature sensor error - Check sensor
  • E3: High pressure protection - Check for blockage, clean condenser
  • E4: Low pressure protection - Check for leaks, refrigerant charge
  • E5: Compressor overload - Check voltage, allow unit to cool
  • E6: Communication error - Check wiring between indoor/outdoor units
  • E7: Fan motor error - Check fan motor and connections
