Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench set
  • Voltage tester
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe cutter
  • Level
  • Refrigerant manifold gauge

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper clearance for airflow and service access, on a solid, level surface.
  2. Prepare Mounting Surface: Ensure the mounting pad or platform is level and can support the unit's weight.
  3. Install Refrigerant Lines: Connect copper refrigerant lines between indoor and outdoor units using proper brazing techniques.
  4. Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 240V, 60Hz circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
  5. Connect Condensate Drain: Install condensate drain line with proper slope away from the unit.
  6. Install Thermostat Wiring: Run low-voltage wiring between indoor unit and thermostat location.
  7. Vacuum and Charge System: Evacuate air and moisture from refrigerant lines, then charge with specified refrigerant amount.
  8. System Startup: Power up system and test all functions including cooling, heating (if equipped), and fan operations.
Warning: Installation must be performed by licensed HVAC technicians. Improper installation can cause equipment damage, void warranty, and create safety hazards.

Dehumidification function reduces humidity without significant temperature change

Fan Only Mode

Circulates air without heating or cooling, with multiple speed options

Eco Mode

Energy-saving operation with optimized settings for reduced power consumption

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
System not turning on Power outage, tripped breaker, thermostat issue Check circuit breaker, thermostat batteries, power supply
Insufficient cooling/heating Dirty filters, low refrigerant, blocked vents Clean/replace filters, check vents, contact technician for refrigerant check
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, compressor issues Turn off system, check for obstructions, contact technician
Water leakage Clogged drain line, frozen evaporator coil Clear condensate drain line, check for ice on coils
Frequent cycling Dirty filters, thermostat location, oversized unit Clean filters, relocate thermostat if near heat source
High energy bills Dirty coils, leaky ducts, improper settings Clean coils, seal ductwork, adjust thermostat settings

Error Codes

  • E1: Room temperature sensor failure - Check sensor connection
  • E2: Outdoor temperature sensor failure - Check sensor connection
  • E3: Communication error - Check wiring between indoor/outdoor units
  • E4: High pressure protection - Clean condenser, check refrigerant
  • E5: Low pressure protection - Check for refrigerant leaks
  • E6: Compressor overload - Allow system to cool, check voltage
  • E7: Fan motor error - Check fan motor and capacitor
  • E8: Defrost system error - Check defrost sensor and timer
