Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location near an electrical outlet on a solid wall with proper support for the unit's weight.
- Prepare Wall Opening: Cut a hole in the wall according to the dimensions specified in the installation template.
- Install Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to the wall using appropriate anchors and screws.
- Connect Drainage: Install the drainage hose with a downward slope to ensure proper water drainage.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 115V, 60Hz, 15A circuit. Do not use an extension cord.
- Install Indoor Unit: Hang the indoor unit on the mounting plate and ensure it is securely attached.
- Seal Opening: Apply foam sealant around the wall opening to prevent air leaks.
- Test Run: Run the air conditioner through a complete cycle to check for proper operation and cooling.
