Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Drill with hole saw attachment
  • Tape measure
  • Sealant gun

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location near an electrical outlet on a solid wall with proper support for the unit's weight.
  2. Prepare Wall Opening: Cut a hole in the wall according to the dimensions specified in the installation template.
  3. Install Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to the wall using appropriate anchors and screws.
  4. Connect Drainage: Install the drainage hose with a downward slope to ensure proper water drainage.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 115V, 60Hz, 15A circuit. Do not use an extension cord.
  6. Install Indoor Unit: Hang the indoor unit on the mounting plate and ensure it is securely attached.
  7. Seal Opening: Apply foam sealant around the wall opening to prevent air leaks.
  8. Test Run: Run the air conditioner through a complete cycle to check for proper operation and cooling.
