Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a window or wall location that can support the unit's weight and has proper electrical access.
- Prepare Opening: Measure and mark the installation area according to the unit's dimensions provided in the manual.
- Install Mounting Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the window sill or wall using provided screws and anchors.
- Place Air Conditioner: Carefully lift the unit and place it onto the mounting bracket, ensuring it sits level and secure.
- Seal Gaps: Use the provided foam seals or weather stripping to seal any gaps around the unit to prevent air leaks.
- Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
- Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat settings.
