Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Drill with hole saw attachment
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Adjustable wrench
- Tape measure
- Vacuum pump and gauge manifold
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper wall support, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, with adequate clearance for airflow.
- Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Securely mount the mounting bracket to the wall using appropriate anchors for your wall type.
- Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on a stable, level surface with proper vibration pads, ensuring adequate clearance for airflow and maintenance.
- Connect Refrigerant Lines: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation and leak-free connections.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated circuit with proper grounding according to local electrical codes. Follow wiring diagram precisely.
- Vacuum and Charge System: Evacuate air and moisture from refrigerant lines using vacuum pump, then charge with specified refrigerant amount.
- Test Run: Run the air conditioner through complete cooling and heating cycles to check for proper operation and temperature performance.
