Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Screwdriver set
  • Drill (for window units)
  • Tape measure
  • Level
  • Adjustable wrench

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location near a power outlet with proper ventilation and away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
  2. Window Unit Preparation: For window units, measure window opening and install mounting bracket securely.
  3. Portable Unit Setup: Place portable unit on flat, stable surface near window for exhaust hose installation.
  4. Install Exhaust Hose: Connect exhaust hose to unit and window kit, ensuring airtight seal to prevent hot air backflow.
  5. Electrical Connection: Plug into dedicated 115V/120V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
  6. Drainage Setup: Ensure proper drainage for condensation - use included drain hose or drain pan as specified.
  7. Test Operation: Turn on unit, set to cooling mode, and verify proper airflow and temperature reduction.
