Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location near electrical outlet with proper ventilation and away from direct sunlight.
- Window Installation Preparation: For window units, measure window opening and prepare mounting bracket according to manual instructions.
- Install Mounting Bracket: Secure bracket to windowsill or wall using provided screws and anchors.
- Place Air Conditioner: Carefully place the unit on the bracket or floor, ensuring it's level and stable.
- Connect Exhaust Hose: For portable models, attach exhaust hose to window vent kit securely.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, 15A dedicated outlet. Do not use extension cords.
- Seal Openings: Use weather stripping to seal any gaps around window installations.
- Test Operation: Turn on the air conditioner and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat.
