Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Drill with hole saw attachment
- Adjustable wrench
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Vacuum pump and manifold gauge
- Tape measure
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location for indoor unit on interior wall and outdoor unit on solid, level surface with proper clearance.
- Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Secure mounting bracket to wall using provided hardware, ensuring it is perfectly level.
- Drill Wall Hole: Drill 3-inch hole through wall for refrigerant lines, drain hose, and electrical wiring.
- Connect Refrigerant Lines: Connect copper refrigerant lines between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring flare connections are tight.
- Connect Drain Hose: Route condensate drain hose to proper drainage location with downward slope.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to dedicated 230V, 60Hz circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
- Vacuum and Charge System: Evacuate air from refrigerant lines using vacuum pump, then release refrigerant charge.
- Test Operation: Power on system and test cooling and heating functions to ensure proper operation.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit won't start | Power issue, remote control batteries dead, circuit breaker tripped | Check power supply, replace remote batteries, reset circuit breaker |
| Poor cooling/heating | Dirty filters, low refrigerant, blocked airflow | Clean filters, check for refrigerant leak, clear obstructions |
| Water leaking indoors | Clogged drain line, improper installation slope | Clear drain line, ensure proper drainage slope |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration | Tighten mounting hardware, clear debris, check installation |
| Frozen coils | Dirty filters, low refrigerant, restricted airflow | Clean filters, check refrigerant charge, ensure proper airflow |
| Remote not working | Dead batteries, signal obstruction, sensor issue | Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check sensor |
