Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Vacuum pump with gauge manifold
  • Refrigerant charging scale
  • Flaring tool set
  • Torque wrench
  • Multimeter
  • Pipe cutter and reamer
  • Level

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper clearance (minimum 30cm from walls and ceilings) and solid wall structure for indoor unit.
  2. Install Mounting Plate: Securely mount the indoor unit bracket using appropriate wall anchors, ensuring it is perfectly level.
  3. Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation and avoiding sharp bends.
  4. Electrical Connection: Connect power cables according to local electrical codes. Ensure proper grounding and use correct circuit breaker size.
  5. Connect Communication Wiring: Connect control wiring between indoor and outdoor units as per wiring diagram.
  6. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate the system using vacuum pump for minimum 30 minutes, then charge with specified amount of R32 refrigerant.
  7. Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and remote control operation.
Warning: Installation must be performed by licensed HVAC technicians only. Improper installation may cause equipment damage, poor performance, or safety hazards.

Key Features

Inverter Technology

Daikin's advanced inverter compressor adjusts power output to match cooling/heating demand, providing consistent comfort while reducing energy consumption by up to 30%.

Coanda Airflow

Innovative airflow design spreads air along the ceiling for wider, more even distribution without direct drafts, ensuring comfortable temperature throughout the room.

Flash Streamer Technology

Advanced air purification system breaks down allergens, odors, and bacteria at molecular level, providing cleaner, healthier indoor air quality.

Intelligent Eye

Energy-saving sensor detects human movement and adjusts operation accordingly. When no movement is detected for 20 minutes, unit switches to energy-saving mode.

Wi-Fi Control

Connect to Daikin Mobile Controller app for remote operation, scheduling, energy monitoring, and maintenance alerts from your smartphone.

Quiet Operation

Specialized noise reduction technology including sound-absorbing materials and optimized fan design for whisper-quiet operation as low as 19 dB.

Operation Modes Explained

Auto Mode

Automatically selects cooling or heating based on room temperature for optimal comfort

Powerful Mode

Rapid cooling/heating operation for quick temperature adjustment when needed

Econo Mode

Energy-saving operation that maintains comfort while minimizing power consumption

Quiet Mode

Ultra-quiet operation for nighttime use or when minimal noise is preferred

Dry Mode

Dehumidifies air without significant cooling, ideal for humid conditions

Fan Mode

Circulates air without cooling or heating, with multiple fan speed options

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not starting Power outage, circuit breaker tripped, remote control batteries dead Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, blocked airflow, incorrect temperature setting Clean filters, ensure proper clearance, set appropriate temperature
Water dripping Clogged drain pipe, improper installation angle Clear drain pipe, ensure proper slope of drain line
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, ice formation Tighten components, clean unit, check for refrigerant issues
Remote not working Dead batteries, signal obstruction, sensor issue Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check sensor window
Foul odors Dirty filters, mold growth in drain pan Clean/replace filters, clean drain pan and use anti-mold treatment

Error Codes

  • E0: Protection device activated - Wait 3 minutes and restart
  • E1: Indoor PCB issue - Contact service center
  • E3: High pressure error - Check for blocked condenser or refrigerant overcharge
  • E5: Communication error - Check wiring between indoor and outdoor units
  • E6: Outdoor unit issue - Check power supply and compressor
  • F3: Discharge pipe temperature error - Check refrigerant charge and compressor
  • H3: High pressure switch error - Clean outdoor unit and check refrigerant
