Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe cutter
  • Vacuum pump
  • Manifold gauge

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper clearance (minimum 30cm from walls and ceiling) on a solid, level wall.
  2. Mount Indoor Unit: Install mounting plate securely on wall, ensuring it is perfectly level using a spirit level.
  3. Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on a stable, level surface with proper ventilation clearance (minimum 50cm on all sides).
  4. Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation and no kinks.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded power supply according to local electrical codes. Use dedicated circuit.
  6. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate air and moisture from refrigerant lines using vacuum pump, then charge with specified refrigerant amount.
  7. Test Run: Run the air conditioner through all modes to check for proper operation, cooling/heating performance, and drainage.
Warning: Installation must be performed by a certified HVAC technician. DIY installation voids warranty and may be dangerous.

Key Features

Inverter Technology

Daikin's advanced inverter compressor adjusts power output to maintain desired temperature consistently, reducing energy consumption by up to 30% compared to conventional units.

Coanda Airflow

Intelligent airflow control spreads cool air along the ceiling for even temperature distribution without direct drafts, ensuring comfort throughout the room.

Quiet Operation

Specialized noise reduction technology ensures whisper-quiet operation as low as 19 dB, quieter than a library, for undisturbed comfort.

Powerful Operation

Rapid cooling and heating capabilities with powerful mode that reaches set temperature quickly, then maintains efficiency with inverter technology.

Eco-friendly R32 Refrigerant

Uses R32 refrigerant with lower global warming potential (GWP) than conventional refrigerants, reducing environmental impact by approximately 75%.

Self-Clean Operation

Automatic cleaning function dries the indoor unit's heat exchanger after use to prevent mold and mildew growth, maintaining air quality and unit efficiency.

Operation Modes Explained

Cool Mode

Standard cooling operation with temperature range 16°C - 30°C for comfortable indoor climate

Heat Mode

Heating operation with temperature range 16°C - 30°C for year-round comfort

Dry Mode

Dehumidification function that removes excess moisture while maintaining comfortable temperature

Fan Mode

Air circulation without cooling or heating, with multiple fan speed settings

Auto Mode

Intelligent mode that automatically selects cooling or heating based on room temperature

Quiet Mode

Ultra-quiet operation for nighttime use or when minimal noise is preferred

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit won't start Power issue, remote control batteries dead, circuit breaker tripped Check power supply, replace remote batteries, reset circuit breaker
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, blocked airflow, incorrect temperature setting Clean filters, clear obstructions, set appropriate temperature
Water leaking indoors Clogged drain pipe, improper installation, frozen evaporator Clear drain pipe, check installation angle, defrost unit
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration from mounting Tighten components, clean fan blades, check mounting stability
Foul odors Dirty filters, mold growth in drain pan Clean filters, run self-clean function, disinfect drain pan
Remote not working Dead batteries, signal obstruction, remote damage Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check remote functionality

Error Codes

  • E0: Protection device activated - Wait 3 minutes and restart
  • E1: Indoor PCB error - Contact service center
  • E3: High pressure error - Check for blocked airflow or overcharge
  • E5: Overload protection - Reduce load or check power supply
  • E6: Communication error - Check wiring between indoor/outdoor units
