Installation Guide

Requirements:

  • Daikin air conditioning unit
  • 2 x AAA batteries
  • Clear line of sight to indoor unit
  • Operating distance: Up to 8 meters

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Battery Installation: Open battery compartment on back of remote and insert 2 AAA batteries, observing correct polarity.
  2. Power On: Press any button to activate remote. The display should illuminate.
  3. Pairing: Point remote at indoor unit and press "ON/OFF" button. The unit should respond with a beep.
  4. Initial Settings: Set current time and date using the "CLOCK" and "SET" buttons.
  5. Mode Selection: Choose desired operation mode: Cool, Heat, Dry, Fan, or Auto.
  6. Temperature Setting: Use up/down arrows to set desired room temperature.
  7. Test Operation: Run system for 10 minutes to ensure all functions work properly.
Important: Keep remote away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture. Replace batteries when display dims.

Cool Mode

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
