Requirements:
- Daikin air conditioning unit
- 2 x AAA batteries
- Clear line of sight to indoor unit
- Operating distance: Up to 8 meters
Step-by-Step Setup
- Battery Installation: Open battery compartment on back of remote and insert 2 AAA batteries, observing correct polarity.
- Power On: Press any button to activate remote. The display should illuminate.
- Pairing: Point remote at indoor unit and press "ON/OFF" button. The unit should respond with a beep.
- Initial Settings: Set current time and date using the "CLOCK" and "SET" buttons.
- Mode Selection: Choose desired operation mode: Cool, Heat, Dry, Fan, or Auto.
- Temperature Setting: Use up/down arrows to set desired room temperature.
- Test Operation: Run system for 10 minutes to ensure all functions work properly.

Troubleshooting
