Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Phillips screwdriver
- Flathead screwdriver
- Wire strippers
- Voltage tester
- Level
- Drill with appropriate bits
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location on an interior wall, approximately 1.5 meters above floor level, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Turn Off Power: Ensure main power to the air conditioning system is completely turned off at the circuit breaker.
- Mount Backplate: Position the control panel backplate on the wall, mark screw holes, drill pilot holes, and secure with provided screws.
- Connect Wiring: Connect the control wires according to the wiring diagram provided with your Daikin unit. Match color codes precisely.
- Attach Control Panel: Carefully align the control panel with the backplate and snap into place until it clicks securely.
- Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker and wait for the system to initialize.
- Initial Setup: Follow the on-screen prompts to set language, time, date, and connect to Wi-Fi if applicable.
- Test Functions: Test all control functions including temperature adjustment, mode selection, and fan speed control.
