Wi-Fi & Smart Control Series

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Flathead screwdriver
  • Wire strippers
  • Voltage tester
  • Level
  • Drill with appropriate bits

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location on an interior wall, approximately 1.5 meters above floor level, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  2. Turn Off Power: Ensure main power to the air conditioning system is completely turned off at the circuit breaker.
  3. Mount Backplate: Position the control panel backplate on the wall, mark screw holes, drill pilot holes, and secure with provided screws.
  4. Connect Wiring: Connect the control wires according to the wiring diagram provided with your Daikin unit. Match color codes precisely.
  5. Attach Control Panel: Carefully align the control panel with the backplate and snap into place until it clicks securely.
  6. Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker and wait for the system to initialize.
  7. Initial Setup: Follow the on-screen prompts to set language, time, date, and connect to Wi-Fi if applicable.
  8. Test Functions: Test all control functions including temperature adjustment, mode selection, and fan speed control.
Warning: Installation must be performed by a qualified HVAC technician or electrician. Incorrect installation may void warranty and create safety hazards.
