Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe cutter
  • Vacuum pump
  • Manifold gauge
  • Torque wrench

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper clearance (minimum 30cm from walls and ceilings) on a solid, level surface.
  2. Mount Indoor Unit: Install mounting plate securely to wall using appropriate anchors for wall type.
  3. Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units using flare connections. Ensure proper insulation.
  4. Connect Drain Hose: Route drain hose with proper downward slope (minimum 1/100 gradient) to appropriate drainage point.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to properly grounded power supply according to local electrical codes. Use dedicated circuit.
  6. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system using vacuum pump for minimum 15 minutes, then charge with specified refrigerant amount.
  7. Test Run: Run system in cooling and heating modes to check for proper operation, temperature output, and drainage.
Warning: Installation must be performed by certified HVAC technicians only. Incorrect installation may cause injury, damage, or void warranty.

Key Features

Inverter Technology

Daikin's advanced inverter compressor adjusts power output to match cooling/heating demand, providing precise temperature control while reducing energy consumption by up to 30%.

Flash Streamer Technology

Advanced air purification system that decomposes allergens, bacteria, and odors using plasma discharge and photocatalytic technology for cleaner indoor air.

Quiet Operation

Specially designed fan blades and sound-dampening materials provide ultra-quiet operation as low as 19 dB, quieter than a whisper.

Intelligent Eye

Motion sensor detects room occupancy and adjusts operation accordingly, saving energy when no one is present while maintaining comfort when occupied.

Daikin Cloud Connectivity

Wi-Fi enabled for remote control via smartphone app, allowing scheduling, energy monitoring, and maintenance alerts from anywhere.

Powerful Operation

Quick cooling and heating capability reaches desired temperature faster than conventional units, with powerful operation even at -15°C outdoor temperature.

Operation Modes Explained

Auto Mode

Automatically selects cooling or heating based on room temperature for optimal comfort

Cooling Mode

Standard air conditioning operation with adjustable temperature and fan speed

Heating Mode

Efficient heat pump operation for winter comfort with defrost cycle

Dry Mode

Dehumidifies air without excessive cooling, ideal for humid conditions

Fan Mode

Circulates air without cooling or heating, with adjustable fan speeds

Night Mode

Quiet operation with gradual temperature adjustment for comfortable sleep

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit won't start Power issue, remote control batteries dead, circuit breaker tripped Check power supply, replace remote batteries, reset circuit breaker
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, blocked airflow, incorrect temperature setting Clean filters, clear obstructions, set appropriate temperature
Water dripping indoors Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope Clear drain pipe, ensure proper downward slope (1/100 minimum)
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, ice buildup Tighten mounting screws, clear debris, check for proper airflow
Frozen indoor unit Dirty filters, low refrigerant, fan motor issue Clean filters, check refrigerant charge, inspect fan motor
Remote not working Dead batteries, signal obstruction, remote sensor issue Replace batteries, ensure clear line of sight, check sensor

Error Codes
