Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Adjustable wrench set
- Vacuum pump with gauge manifold
- Refrigerant scale
- Flaring tool set
- Tube cutter
- Multimeter
- Level
Step-by-Step Installation
- Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper clearance (minimum 30cm from walls and ceilings) and solid mounting surface for both indoor and outdoor units.
- Mount Indoor Unit: Install mounting plate securely on wall, ensuring it is perfectly level. Hang indoor unit on plate.
- Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on stable, level surface with proper vibration isolation pads. Ensure adequate airflow clearance.
- Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units using flare connections. Ensure pipes are properly insulated.
- Electrical Connection: Connect power cables to appropriate terminals following wiring diagram. Connect communication cable between units.
- Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system using vacuum pump for minimum 30 minutes. Charge with specified amount of R-32 refrigerant.
- Test Operation: Power on system and test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and remote control operation.

Key Features
Inverter Technology
Daikin's advanced inverter compressor adjusts speed to match cooling/heating demand, providing precise temperature control and up to 30% energy savings compared to conventional systems.
Flash Streamer Technology
Advanced air purification system that removes allergens, bacteria, and odors from indoor air, creating a healthier living environment.
Intelligent Eye
Motion sensor detects room occupancy and adjusts operation accordingly. Energy Saver mode activates when no movement is detected for 20 minutes.
Coanda Airflow
Patiented airflow design that spreads air along the ceiling for even temperature distribution without direct drafts on occupants.
Wi-Fi Control
Connect to Daikin Mobile Controller app for remote operation, scheduling, energy monitoring, and maintenance alerts from your smartphone.
Quiet Operation
Specially designed fan blades and sound-dampening materials provide ultra-quiet operation as low as 19 dB, quieter than a whisper.
Operation Modes Explained
Auto Mode
System automatically selects cooling or heating based on room temperature for optimal comfort
Powerful Mode
Rapid cooling/heating operation for quick temperature adjustment when entering room
Econo Mode
Energy-saving operation that optimizes performance while reducing power consumption
Quiet Mode
Reduces fan speed and compressor noise for nighttime or quiet environment operation
Dry Mode
Dehumidifies air without significant cooling, ideal for humid conditions
Fan Mode
Circulates air without cooling or heating, with multiple fan speed options
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit not starting | Power outage, circuit breaker tripped, remote control batteries dead | Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries |
| Poor cooling/heating | Dirty filters, blocked airflow, refrigerant leak, outdoor unit obstructed | Clean filters, clear obstructions, check for leaks, clear outdoor unit area |
| Water dripping indoors | Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope, dirty evaporator | Clear drain pipe, ensure proper slope, clean evaporator coil |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration from mounting | Tighten all screws, clear debris, check mounting stability |
| Remote not working | Dead batteries, signal obstruction, remote sensor issue | Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check indoor unit sensor |
| Frozen indoor unit | Dirty filters, low refrigerant, fan motor failure | Clean filters, check refrigerant charge, inspect fan motor |
Error Codes
