Inverter Split System

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Vacuum pump with manifold gauge
  • Flaring tool set
  • Tubing cutter
  • Torque wrench
  • Level
  • Drill with hole saw
  • Refrigerant scale

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper clearance (minimum 30cm from walls and ceiling) and solid wall structure for indoor unit.
  2. Install Wall Bracket: Securely mount the wall bracket using appropriate anchors for your wall type, ensuring it is perfectly level.
  3. Drill Refrigerant Pipe Hole: Drill a 65mm hole through the wall at a slight downward angle to the outside to prevent water ingress.
  4. Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units using flare connections. Ensure pipes are properly insulated.
  5. Connect Drain Hose: Install drain hose with continuous downward slope (minimum 1/100 gradient) to ensure proper condensation drainage.
  6. Electrical Connection: Connect power supply to dedicated circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
  7. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system to 500 microns, hold for 15 minutes, then charge with specified amount of R32 refrigerant.
  8. Test Operation: Run system in cooling and heating modes to verify proper operation and check for leaks.
Warning: Installation must be performed by certified HVAC technicians only. Improper installation may cause equipment damage, reduced efficiency, and void warranty.

Key Features

Inverter Technology

Daikin's advanced inverter compressor adjusts speed continuously to maintain precise temperature control, reducing energy consumption by up to 30% compared to conventional systems.

Coanda Airflow

Intelligent airflow control spreads cool or warm air evenly throughout the room by following the ceiling surface, eliminating hot/cold spots and ensuring uniform comfort.

Flash Streamer Technology

Advanced air purification system breaks down allergens, odors, and bacteria at molecular level, providing cleaner, healthier indoor air quality.

Intelligent Eye

Built-in motion sensor detects room occupancy and automatically switches to energy-saving mode when no movement is detected for 20 minutes.

Wi-Fi Control

Connect to Daikin Mobile Controller app for remote operation, scheduling, energy monitoring, and maintenance alerts from your smartphone.

Powerful Heating

Advanced heat pump technology provides efficient heating even in extreme cold conditions down to -15°C, with quick warm-up capability.

Operation Modes

Cool Mode

Standard cooling operation with adjustable temperature and fan speed settings

Heat Mode

Efficient heating operation with defrost cycle for winter conditions

Dry Mode

Dehumidification function that removes excess moisture while maintaining comfort

Fan Mode

Air circulation without cooling or heating, with multiple fan speed options

Auto Mode

Intelligent mode that automatically switches between cooling and heating based on room temperature

Night Mode

Quiet operation with gradual temperature adjustment for undisturbed sleep

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not starting Power outage, circuit breaker tripped, remote control batteries dead Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, blocked airflow, incorrect temperature setting Clean filters, remove obstructions, set appropriate temperature
Water leaking indoors Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope, frozen evaporator Clear drain pipe, ensure proper slope, check for ice formation
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, refrigerant flow noise Tighten mounting screws, clean fan blades, check refrigerant charge
Foul odors Dirty filters, mold growth in drain pan, stagnant water Clean filters and drain pan, use anti-bacterial treatment
Remote not working Dead batteries, signal obstruction, remote sensor issue Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check sensor window

Error Codes

  • U0: Refrigerant shortage - Check for leaks and recharge
  • U2: Low voltage/power failure - Check power supply
  • U4: Communication error - Check wiring between indoor/outdoor units
  • H3: High pressure protection - Clean outdoor coil, check fan
  • H9: Outdoor temperature sensor error - Replace sensor
  • P1: Fan motor protection - Check fan operation and clearance
  • E5/E6: Indoor unit communication error - Check PCB connections
