Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Vacuum pump with gauge manifold
  • Torque wrench
  • Flaring tool set
  • Pipe cutter
  • Level
  • Drill with core bit
  • Refrigerant scale

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper clearance (minimum 30cm from ceiling, 15cm from walls) and adequate structural support.
  2. Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Securely mount the mounting plate to the wall using appropriate anchors for your wall type.
  3. Drill Wall Hole: Drill a 65mm diameter hole through the wall with a slight downward slope to the outside for drainage.
  4. Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units using flare connections. Ensure proper insulation on pipes.
  5. Connect Drain Hose: Route drain hose with continuous downward slope to proper drainage point.
  6. Electrical Connection: Connect power cables following local electrical codes. Ensure proper grounding and circuit protection.
  7. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system to 500 microns minimum, then charge with specified amount of R-32 refrigerant.
  8. Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and remote control operation.
Warning: Installation must be performed by certified HVAC technicians only. Improper installation may cause injury, damage, or void warranty.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not turning on Power outage, circuit breaker tripped, remote battery dead Check power supply, reset breaker, replace remote batteries
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, blocked airflow, incorrect temperature setting Clean filters, clear obstructions, set appropriate temperature
Water leaking indoors Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope Clear drain line, ensure proper downward slope
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, ice buildup Tighten components, clean unit, check for ice formation
Remote not working Dead batteries, signal obstruction, sensor issue Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check sensor
Foul odors Dirty filters, mold growth in drain pan Clean filters and drain pan, run fan mode to dry
