Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Adjustable wrench
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Pipe cutter
- Vacuum pump
- Manifold gauge
- Torque wrench
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper wall support, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, with adequate clearance for airflow.
- Mount Indoor Unit: Install mounting plate on wall, ensuring it is level. Hang indoor unit securely on the mounting plate.
- Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on a solid, level surface with proper vibration isolation pads and adequate clearance for airflow.
- Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units using flare connections. Ensure proper insulation on pipes.
- Connect Drain Hose: Install drain hose with proper downward slope to ensure proper condensation drainage.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded electrical supply according to local electrical codes. Use dedicated circuit.
- Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate air and moisture from refrigerant lines using vacuum pump, then charge with specified amount of refrigerant.
- Test Run: Run the air conditioner through complete cooling and heating cycles to check for proper operation and leaks.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Air conditioner won't start | Power issue, remote control batteries dead, circuit breaker tripped | Check power supply, replace remote batteries, reset circuit breaker |
| Poor cooling/heating performance | Dirty filters, blocked airflow, refrigerant leak, outdoor unit obstructed | Clean filters, clear obstructions, check for leaks, clear outdoor unit area |
| Water leakage from indoor unit | Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope, dirty filters | Clean drain pipe, ensure proper slope, clean filters regularly |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration from improper installation | Tighten all screws, clean fan blades, check installation stability |
| Frozen indoor unit | Dirty filters, low refrigerant, blocked airflow, fan motor issue | Clean filters, check refrigerant charge, ensure proper airflow |
| Remote control not working | Dead batteries, signal obstruction, remote sensor issue | Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check remote sensor |
