Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
AC unit won't start Power issue, thermostat setting, circuit breaker Check power supply, verify thermostat settings, reset circuit breaker
Poor cooling performance Dirty filter, low refrigerant, restricted airflow Clean or replace filter, check for obstructions, verify refrigerant charge
Unit cycles on/off frequently Dirty condenser, thermostat location, electrical issue Clean condenser coils, check thermostat placement, verify voltage
Water leaking inside RV Clogged drain tube, improper installation, condensate buildup Clear drain tube, check installation angle, ensure proper drainage
Unusual noises Loose components, debris in fan, motor issues Tighten mounting hardware, clear debris, check fan motor
Fan runs but no cooling Compressor issue, refrigerant leak, capacitor failure Check compressor operation, look for refrigerant leaks, test capacitors

Error Codes

  • E1: Room temperature sensor error - Check sensor connection
  • E2: Evaporator temperature sensor error - Check sensor and wiring
  • E3: Condenser temperature sensor error - Verify sensor operation
  • E4: Communication error - Check control board connections
  • E5: Overcurrent protection - Check electrical supply and compressor
  • E6: High pressure protection - Clean condenser, check refrigerant
