Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Roof mounting kit
- Drill with hole saw attachment
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Wire strippers and crimpers
- Sealant (RV roof approved)
- Measuring tape
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location on the RV roof with adequate structural support and clear of obstructions.
- Prepare Roof Opening: Mark and cut the roof opening according to the template provided in the installation kit.
- Install Roof Curb: Secure the roof curb to the RV roof using appropriate fasteners and seal thoroughly with RV roof sealant.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 120V, 15-amp circuit. Follow all local electrical codes and RV wiring standards.
- Mount Air Conditioner: Lift the air conditioner onto the roof curb and secure with provided bolts and brackets.
- Connect Ductwork: Connect the duct system to the air conditioner's plenum for proper air distribution throughout the RV.
- Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat operation before finalizing installation.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Air conditioner won't start | Power issue, thermostat setting, circuit breaker | Check power supply, verify thermostat settings, reset circuit breaker |
| Poor cooling performance | Dirty filter, low refrigerant, restricted airflow | Clean or replace filter, check for obstructions, verify refrigerant charge |
| Water leaking inside RV | Clogged drain line, improper installation | Clear condensate drain line, check installation angle |
| Unusual noises | Loose components, debris in fan, motor issues | Tighten mounting hardware, clear debris from fan, check motor |
| Fan runs but no cooling | Compressor issue, thermostat problem, low refrigerant | Check compressor operation, verify thermostat, check refrigerant level |
| Unit cycles on and off frequently | Dirty condenser coils, thermostat location, electrical issue | Clean condenser coils, relocate thermostat if in sun, check electrical connections |
Error Codes
