Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit won't start Power issue, thermostat setting, circuit breaker Check power supply, verify thermostat settings, reset circuit breaker
Poor cooling performance Dirty filters, low refrigerant, restricted airflow Clean filters, check for obstructions, verify proper installation
Water leaking inside RV Clogged drain, improper installation, condensate overflow Clear drain tube, check installation angle, verify proper drainage
Unusual noises Loose components, debris in fan, motor issues Tighten mounting hardware, clear debris, check fan blades
Fan runs but no cooling Compressor issue, thermostat problem, refrigerant leak Check compressor operation, verify thermostat, look for leaks
Unit cycles on/off frequently Dirty coils, low refrigerant, thermostat location Clean condenser coils, check refrigerant charge, relocate thermostat

Error Codes

  • E1: Room temperature sensor fault - Check sensor connection
  • E2: Evaporator temperature sensor fault - Check sensor
  • E3: High pressure fault - Check condenser airflow
  • E4: Low pressure fault - Check refrigerant charge
  • E5: Compressor overload - Allow unit to cool, check voltage
  • E6: Communication error - Check thermostat wiring
