Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Marine-grade sealant
- Hole saw kit
- Wire crimpers
- Multimeter
- Marine-grade wiring
- Fiberglass cutting tools
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from direct water spray and engine compartments.
- Prepare Mounting Surface: Ensure the mounting surface is flat, solid, and properly reinforced to handle unit vibration.
- Cut Installation Holes: Carefully cut holes for air intake, exhaust, and drainage according to template specifications.
- Install Seawater Pump: Mount the seawater pump below waterline with proper strainer and anti-siphon valve.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to boat's DC power system with appropriate circuit breaker. Use marine-grade wiring and connectors.
- Seawater System: Install through-hull fitting, seacock, and connect seawater lines with double hose clamps.
- Ductwork Installation: Install insulated ducting to prevent condensation and ensure efficient airflow.
- Test Run: Perform system test on land first, then conduct sea trial to ensure proper operation.

Dehumidification without significant temperature change
Fan Only
Circulates air without cooling or heating, ideal for ventilation
Auto Mode
Automatically switches between cooling and heating to maintain set temperature
Night Mode
Quiet operation with reduced fan speed for sleeping quarters
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit won't start | Power issue, tripped breaker, low voltage | Check shore power, reset breakers, verify battery voltage |
| Insufficient cooling | Clogged seawater strainer, low refrigerant, dirty filter | Clean strainer, check refrigerant charge, clean/replace filter |
| Water not flowing | Clogged strainer, air lock, pump failure | Clean strainer, bleed air from system, check pump operation |
| Water leakage in cabin | Clogged drain line, improper installation, condensation | Clear drain line, check installation slope, insulate ducts |
| Unusual noises | Air in seawater system, loose components, pump issues | Bleed seawater system, tighten mounts, inspect pump |
| Error codes displayed | System faults, sensor failures, communication errors | Refer to error code chart, check sensors and wiring |
Error Codes
