Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Power drill with hole saw
- Socket wrench set
- Roof sealant (self-leveling)
- Measuring tape
- Utility knife
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Wire strippers/crimpers
Step-by-Step Installation
- Prepare Installation Site: Select a location on the RV roof with adequate structural support and clear of obstructions.
- Cut Roof Opening: Using the provided template, mark and cut the roof opening according to manufacturer specifications.
- Install Roof Gasket: Apply self-leveling sealant to the roof gasket and position it around the cut opening.
- Mount AC Unit: Lift the air conditioner onto the roof and position it over the opening, aligning with mounting holes.
- Secure Unit: Secure the unit from inside the RV using the provided mounting brackets and hardware.
- Electrical Connection: Connect power wires according to wiring diagram, ensuring proper grounding and circuit protection.
- Install Interior Components: Mount the interior control panel and ductwork as specified in the manual.
- Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat operation.

Key Features
High Efficiency Compressor
Advanced rotary compressor technology provides maximum cooling performance with minimal power consumption, ideal for RV electrical systems.
Low Profile Design
Streamlined aerodynamic design reduces wind resistance and improves fuel efficiency while traveling.
Multi-Speed Fan
Three-speed fan operation allows for customized airflow and noise levels depending on cooling needs and preferences.
Heat Strip Option
Optional electric heat strip provides auxiliary heating capability for year-round comfort.
Easy-Access Service Panels
Removable service panels provide convenient access to filters, electrical components, and drainage system.
Condensate Management
Advanced drainage system prevents water accumulation and directs condensate away from the RV exterior.
Operating Modes
Cool Mode
Standard cooling operation with thermostat control for maintaining set temperature
Fan Only Mode
Circulates air without cooling, available in three speed settings
Economy Mode
Energy-saving operation that cycles compressor to maintain temperature efficiently
Dehumidify Mode
Reduces humidity while minimizing temperature drop for comfort in damp conditions
Heat Mode
Available with optional heat strip for supplemental heating (models with heat strip only)
Auto Mode
Automatically switches between cooling and fan operation to maintain set temperature
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| AC unit won't start | Power issue, thermostat setting, circuit breaker | Check power supply, verify thermostat settings, reset circuit breaker |
| Poor cooling performance | Dirty filters, low refrigerant, restricted airflow | Clean/replace filters, check for obstructions, verify refrigerant charge |
| Water leaking inside | Clogged drain, improper installation, condensate overflow | Clear drain tube, check unit leveling, ensure proper drainage |
| Unusual noises | Loose components, debris in fan, bearing wear | Tighten mounting hardware, clear debris from fan, check motor bearings |
| Fan runs but no cooling | Compressor issue, refrigerant leak, electrical fault | Check compressor operation, look for refrigerant leaks, verify electrical connections |
| Unit cycles on/off frequently | Dirty coils, thermostat location, over/undersized unit | Clean evaporator coils, relocate thermostat if in direct sunlight |
Error Codes
- E1: Room temperature sensor fault - Check sensor connection
- E2: Evaporator temperature sensor fault - Check sensor and wiring
- E3: High pressure fault - Check condenser airflow and cleanliness
- E4: Low pressure fault - Check refrigerant charge and for leaks
- E5: Compressor overload - Check electrical supply and compressor
- E6: Communication error - Check control board connections
