Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a window that can support the unit's weight and has access to a dedicated electrical outlet.
- Prepare Window Area: Clean the window sill and ensure it's level. Remove any obstacles that might interfere with installation.
- Install Support Bracket: If required, securely attach the support bracket to the exterior wall below the window.
- Position the Unit: Carefully lift the air conditioner and place it in the window opening, ensuring it sits level on the sill.
- Extend Side Panels: Extend the side panels to fill the window opening gaps and secure them in place.
- Secure the Unit: Use the provided screws to secure the unit to the window frame and install the locking bracket.
- Seal Gaps: Apply weather stripping around the unit to prevent air leaks and improve efficiency.
- Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
- Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat settings.
