Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Drill with bits
  • Support bracket (if required)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a window that can support the unit's weight and has access to a dedicated electrical outlet.
  2. Prepare Window Area: Clean the window sill and ensure it's level. Remove any obstacles that might interfere with installation.
  3. Install Support Bracket: If required, securely attach the support bracket to the exterior wall below the window.
  4. Position the Unit: Carefully lift the air conditioner and place it in the window opening, ensuring it sits level on the sill.
  5. Extend Side Panels: Extend the side panels to fill the window opening gaps and secure them in place.
  6. Secure the Unit: Use the provided screws to secure the unit to the window frame and install the locking bracket.
  7. Seal Gaps: Apply weather stripping around the unit to prevent air leaks and improve efficiency.
  8. Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
  9. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat settings.
Warning: Installation should be performed by two people due to the unit's weight. Ensure proper support to prevent falling hazards.
