Wall Mounted Split System

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Vacuum pump with gauge manifold
  • Torque wrench
  • Flaring tool set
  • Pipe cutter
  • Level
  • Drill with concrete bits
  • Refrigerant scale

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper clearance (minimum 15cm from ceiling, 30cm from walls) and away from heat sources.
  2. Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Securely mount the bracket to the wall using appropriate anchors for your wall type.
  3. Drill Wall Hole: Drill a 65mm hole through the wall with a slight downward slope to the outside for drainage.
  4. Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on a stable, level surface with proper vibration pads and minimum 30cm clearance on all sides.
  5. Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units using flare connections with proper torque specifications.
  6. Electrical Connection: Connect power cables according to local electrical codes. Ensure proper grounding and circuit breaker protection.
  7. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate the system to 500 microns for 30 minutes, then charge with specified amount of R32 refrigerant.
  8. Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and remote control operation.
Warning: Installation must be performed by certified HVAC technicians only. Improper installation may cause equipment damage, personal injury, or void warranty.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not turning on Power outage, circuit breaker tripped, remote control batteries dead Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, blocked airflow, incorrect temperature setting Clean air filters, clear obstructions, set appropriate temperature
Water leaking indoors Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope Clear drain pipe, ensure proper drainage slope
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, ice formation Tighten mounting screws, clear debris, check for ice buildup
Foul odor Dirty filters, mold growth in drain pan Clean filters, run self-clean function, disinfect drain pan
Remote not working Dead batteries, signal obstruction, sensor issue Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check sensor window

Error Codes
