Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe cutter
  • Vacuum pump
  • Manifold gauge set
  • Torque wrench

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper clearance (minimum 30cm from ceiling, 15cm from walls) on a solid wall.
  2. Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using appropriate anchors for your wall type.
  3. Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on a stable, level surface with proper ventilation clearance (minimum 50cm all around).
  4. Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation on suction line.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated circuit with proper grounding according to local electrical codes.
  6. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate the system using a vacuum pump, then charge with specified refrigerant amount.
  7. Test Run: Run the air conditioner through all modes to check for proper operation and cooling/heating performance.
Warning: Installation must be performed by a qualified HVAC technician. Improper installation may void warranty and cause safety hazards.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit won't start Power issue, remote control batteries dead, circuit breaker tripped Check power supply, replace remote batteries, reset circuit breaker
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, blocked airflow, incorrect temperature setting Clean filters, clear obstructions, set appropriate temperature
Water leaking indoors Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope Clear drain pipe, ensure proper drainage slope
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, ice buildup Tighten components, clean fan blades, check for ice formation
Foul odor Dirty filters, mold growth in drain pan Clean filters, use anti-mold treatment, run fan mode
Remote not working Dead batteries, signal obstruction, sensor issue Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check sensor window

Error Codes
