Wall Mounted Split System

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Vacuum pump with gauge manifold
  • Refrigerant charging scale
  • Torque wrench
  • Flaring tool set
  • Pipe cutter and reamer
  • Multimeter
  • Level
  • Drill with core bit

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper clearances (minimum 30cm from ceiling, 15cm from walls) and adequate structural support.
  2. Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Securely mount the mounting plate to the wall using appropriate anchors for wall type.
  3. Prepare Refrigerant Piping: Cut copper pipes to required length, deburr ends, and flare connections to manufacturer specifications.
  4. Install Drainage System: Route drain hose with continuous downward slope (minimum 1/100 gradient) to proper drainage point.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to dedicated circuit with proper grounding according to local electrical codes. Use specified wire gauge.
  6. Connect Refrigerant Lines: Connect indoor and outdoor units with flare nuts, ensuring clean, oiled connections tightened to specified torque.
  7. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system to 500 microns, hold for 15 minutes, then charge with specified refrigerant amount by weight.
  8. Test Operation: Run system through all modes to verify proper cooling, heating, and drainage operation.
Warning: Installation must be performed by licensed HVAC technicians only. Improper installation may cause injury, property damage, or void warranty.

Key Features

Inverter Technology

Advanced DC inverter compressor adjusts speed continuously for precise temperature control, faster cooling/heating, and up to 40% energy savings compared to conventional systems.

Plasma Quad Plus™

Four-stage air purification system that removes dust, pollen, odors, and inhibits bacteria and mold growth for cleaner, healthier indoor air quality.

3D Airflow

Vertical and horizontal louvers move independently to distribute air evenly throughout the room, eliminating hot/cold spots and ensuring consistent comfort.

Wi-Fi Control

Built-in Wi-Fi allows remote control via smartphone app, including scheduling, temperature adjustments, and energy monitoring from anywhere.

Eco Mode

Intelligent energy-saving operation that optimizes performance based on room conditions and usage patterns while maintaining comfort levels.

Self-Clean Function

Automatically dries the heat exchanger and internal components after use to prevent mold and mildew growth, reducing maintenance needs.

Operating Modes Explained

Cool Mode

Standard cooling operation with adjustable temperature and fan speed settings for hot weather conditions

Heat Mode

Efficient heating operation with automatic defrost cycle for cold weather down to -15°C outdoor temperature

Dry Mode

Dehumidification function that removes excess moisture while maintaining comfortable room temperature

Fan Mode

Air circulation only without cooling or heating, with multiple fan speed options

Auto Mode

Intelligent mode that automatically selects cooling or heating based on room temperature

Quiet Mode

Ultra-quiet operation with reduced fan speed for nighttime or office use

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not turning on Power outage, circuit breaker tripped, remote control batteries dead Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, blocked airflow, refrigerant leak, outdoor unit obstructed Clean filters, clear obstructions, check for leaks, clear outdoor unit area
Water dripping indoors Clogged drain line, improper installation slope, frozen evaporator Clear drain line, ensure proper slope, check for ice buildup
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration from mounting Tighten all fasteners, clear debris, check mounting stability
Foul odors Dirty filters, mold growth in drain pan, stagnant water Clean/replace filters, run self-clean cycle, ensure proper drainage
Remote not working Batteries dead, signal blocked, sensor issue Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check sensor window

Error Codes

  • E0: Room temperature sensor error - Check indoor sensor connection
  • E1: Indoor coil sensor error - Check evaporator sensor
  • E3: High pressure protection - Check for blocked condenser or overcharge
  • E4: Low pressure protection - Check for refrigerant leak or restriction
  • E5: Compressor overload - Check power supply and compressor
  • E6: Communication error - Check wiring between indoor/outdoor units
  • E7: Outdoor fan motor error - Check fan motor and capacitor
  • E8: Four-way valve error - Check reversing valve operation
