Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| System not starting | Power issue, thermostat setting, safety lockout | Check circuit breaker, verify thermostat settings, wait for lockout reset |
| Poor cooling/heating | Dirty filters, low refrigerant, blocked airflow | Clean filters, check refrigerant charge, clear obstructions |
| Water leakage | Clogged drain line, improper slope, frozen coil | Clear drain line, ensure proper slope, check for ice formation |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration | Tighten components, clear debris, check mounting |
| Frequent cycling | Dirty filters, thermostat location, oversized unit | Clean filters, relocate thermostat, consult technician |
| Error code display | System fault, sensor failure, communication error | Note error code, power cycle system, contact technician |
Common Error Codes
- E0: Room temperature sensor fault - Check sensor connection
- E1: Indoor unit PCB fault - Power cycle system
- E3: High pressure protection - Check for blockage, wait for reset
- E4: Low pressure protection - Check refrigerant charge
- E5: Compressor overload - Allow system to cool down
- E6: Communication error - Check wiring between units
- E7: Outdoor fan motor fault - Check fan operation
- E9: Water level alarm - Check drain system
