Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench set
  • Vacuum pump and gauge manifold
  • Refrigerant scale
  • Flaring tool
  • Tube cutter
  • Torque wrench
  • Multimeter

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper clearance (minimum 30cm from walls and ceilings) on a solid, level surface.
  2. Mount Indoor Unit: Securely mount the indoor unit bracket to the wall using appropriate anchors for your wall type.
  3. Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on a level concrete pad or mounting brackets with proper vibration isolation.
  4. Connect Refrigerant Lines: Connect copper piping between indoor and outdoor units using flare connections. Ensure all connections are leak-free.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to dedicated circuit with proper voltage (220-240V, 50Hz). Follow local electrical codes.
  6. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate system to 500 microns minimum, then charge with specified amount of R32 refrigerant.
  7. Test Operation: Test cooling and heating modes, check temperature differentials, and verify proper drainage.
Warning: Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician. DIY installation voids warranty and may be dangerous.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not turning on Power outage, circuit breaker tripped, remote battery dead Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, blocked airflow, refrigerant leak Clean filters, clear obstructions, contact technician for leak check
Water leaking indoors Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope Clear drain pipe, ensure proper drainage slope
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration Tighten mounting, clear debris, check isolation
Frozen indoor unit Dirty filters, low refrigerant, fan failure Clean filters, contact technician for service
Remote not working Battery failure, signal obstruction, sensor issue Replace batteries, clear line of sight, reset unit
