Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a window with proper support and electrical outlet within reach. Ensure the window can support the unit's weight.
- Prepare Window Area: Clean the window sill and remove any obstacles. Measure window opening to ensure proper fit.
- Install Mounting Brackets: Secure the side mounting brackets to the window frame according to manufacturer instructions.
- Place Air Conditioner: Carefully lift the unit and place it on the window sill, ensuring it sits securely on the mounting brackets.
- Secure the Unit: Extend the side panels and secure them to the window frame. Use provided screws to lock the unit in place.
- Seal Gaps: Install the foam seal strips around the unit to prevent air leaks and improve efficiency.
- Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
- Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat settings.
