Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Drill with appropriate bits
  • Utility knife

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a window with proper support and electrical outlet within reach. Ensure the window can support the unit's weight.
  2. Prepare Window Area: Clean the window sill and remove any obstacles. Measure window opening to ensure proper fit.
  3. Install Mounting Brackets: Secure the side mounting brackets to the window frame according to manufacturer instructions.
  4. Place Air Conditioner: Carefully lift the unit and place it on the window sill, ensuring it sits securely on the mounting brackets.
  5. Secure the Unit: Extend the side panels and secure them to the window frame. Use provided screws to lock the unit in place.
  6. Seal Gaps: Install the foam seal strips around the unit to prevent air leaks and improve efficiency.
  7. Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
  8. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat settings.
Warning: Installation should be performed by two people due to the weight of the unit. Ensure proper support to prevent injury or damage.
