Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Drill with hole saw attachment
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Tape measure
  • Level
  • Caulking gun
  • Utility knife

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a window that can support the weight of the air conditioner and is near an electrical outlet.
  2. Prepare Window Area: Clean the window sill and frame, ensuring it's free from debris and damage.
  3. Install Mounting Brackets: Secure the mounting brackets to the window sill according to manufacturer specifications.
  4. Place Air Conditioner: Carefully lift and place the air conditioner unit onto the mounting brackets.
  5. Secure Side Panels: Install and secure the side panels to prevent air leaks and ensure proper insulation.
  6. Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
  7. Seal Gaps: Use weather stripping or foam insulation to seal any gaps around the unit.
  8. Test Operation: Turn on the air conditioner and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat.
Warning: Installation should be performed by two people. Ensure the unit is properly supported to prevent falling. Follow all local building codes and regulations.

Troubleshooting
