Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a window that can support the weight of the air conditioner and has access to a proper electrical outlet.
- Prepare the Window: Clean the window area and measure to ensure proper fit. Remove any obstacles from the installation area.
- Install Mounting Brackets: Secure the mounting brackets to the window sill according to manufacturer instructions.
- Position the Unit: Carefully lift the air conditioner and place it in the window opening, ensuring it sits level on the brackets.
- Secure the Unit: Extend the side panels and secure them in place. Use screws to fasten the unit to the window frame.
- Seal the Gaps: Install the foam seals provided to prevent air leaks around the unit.
- Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
- Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat settings.
