Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Air conditioner won't start Power issue, thermostat setting, timer function Check power supply, ensure thermostat is set below room temperature, check timer settings
Poor cooling performance Dirty filter, blocked airflow, room too large Clean or replace filter, clear obstructions from vents, ensure room size matches unit capacity
Water leaking inside Improper installation angle, clogged drain Ensure unit is tilted slightly outward, check and clear drain channels
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, worn components Tighten all fasteners, clear debris from fan area, contact service if noise persists
Unit cycles on and off frequently Dirty filter, thermostat location, extreme outdoor temperature Clean filter, ensure thermostat not in direct sunlight or heat source, reduce cooling load
Frozen evaporator coil Dirty filter, low refrigerant, restricted airflow Clean filter, turn unit off to thaw, contact service if problem recurs
