Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a suitable wall location with proper structural support and access to electrical connection.
- Prepare Wall Opening: Cut a precise opening in the wall according to the sleeve dimensions specified in the manual.
- Install Sleeve: Insert the mounting sleeve into the wall opening, ensuring it's level and properly sealed against weather elements.
- Secure Sleeve: Use provided screws to secure the sleeve to the wall structure, checking level throughout installation.
- Weatherproofing: Apply exterior caulking around the sleeve to prevent water and air infiltration.
- Install AC Unit: Carefully slide the air conditioner into the mounted sleeve, ensuring proper alignment and secure fit.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 115V, 15A circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
- Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat operation.
