Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Drill with bits
  • Adjustable wrench

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a window that can support the weight of the unit and is near an electrical outlet.
  2. Prepare the Window: Clean the window area and remove any obstacles. Ensure the window opens and closes properly.
  3. Install Mounting Brackets: Secure the mounting brackets to the window sill according to the provided instructions.
  4. Place the Unit: Carefully lift the air conditioner into the window opening, ensuring it sits securely on the brackets.
  5. Secure the Unit: Extend the side panels and secure them in place. Use screws to fasten the unit to the window frame.
  6. Seal the Gaps: Install the foam seal strips around the unit to prevent air leaks and improve efficiency.
  7. Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
  8. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan, and thermostat settings.
Warning: Installation should be performed by two people. Ensure proper support to prevent the unit from falling. All electrical connections must comply with local codes.
