Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Adjustable wrench
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Drill with hole saw
- Tape measure
- Vacuum pump and gauge manifold
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper wall support, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, with adequate clearance for airflow.
- Mount Indoor Unit: Install mounting plate on wall, ensuring it is level. Hang indoor unit on mounting plate securely.
- Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on stable, level surface with proper vibration pads. Ensure adequate clearance for airflow and service access.
- Connect Refrigerant Lines: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units. Ensure all connections are tight and properly insulated.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 230V, 50Hz, dedicated circuit. Follow local electrical codes and regulations.
- Vacuum and Charge System: Evacuate air and moisture from refrigerant lines using vacuum pump. Charge with specified refrigerant amount.
- Test Run: Run the air conditioner through all modes to check for proper operation, cooling performance, and drainage.

Cool Mode
Standard cooling operation with adjustable temperature and fan speed settings
Heat Mode
Reverse cycle heating for year-round comfort (heat pump models only)
Dry Mode
Dehumidification function that removes excess moisture without overcooling
Fan Mode
Circulates air without cooling or heating, with multiple fan speed options
Auto Mode
Intelligently switches between cooling and heating based on room temperature
Eco Mode
Energy-saving operation that optimizes performance for reduced power consumption
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit won't start | Power issue, remote control batteries dead, circuit breaker tripped | Check power supply, replace remote batteries, reset circuit breaker |
| Poor cooling/heating | Dirty filters, blocked airflow, refrigerant leak, outdoor unit obstructed | Clean filters, clear obstructions, check for leaks, ensure outdoor unit clearance |
| Water leaking indoors | Clogged drain pipe, improper installation, frozen evaporator | Clear drain pipe, check installation angle, defrost unit |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, compressor issues | Tighten all fasteners, clear debris from fans, contact service if compressor noise |
| Foul odors | Dirty filters, mold growth in drain pan | Clean or replace filters, clean drain pan and use anti-mold treatment |
| Remote not working | Dead batteries, signal obstruction, remote sensor issue | Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check indoor unit sensor |
