Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Drill with hole saw attachment
- Vacuum pump and manifold gauge
- Torque wrench
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Pipe cutter and flaring tool
- Leak detector
Step-by-Step Installation
- Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper structural support, away from heat sources, and with adequate clearance for airflow and maintenance.
- Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Securely mount the bracket to the wall using appropriate anchors, ensuring it is perfectly level.
- Drill Wall Hole: Drill a 70mm hole through the wall at a slight downward angle to the outside for proper drainage.
- Install Outdoor Unit: Place the outdoor unit on a stable, level surface with proper vibration isolation pads and adequate clearance.
- Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation and using flare connections with torque specifications.
- Electrical Connection: Connect power cables according to local electrical codes, ensuring proper grounding and circuit protection.
- Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate the system using a vacuum pump, then charge with the specified amount of refrigerant.
- Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and remote control operation.
