Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Drill with hole saw attachment
  • Vacuum pump and manifold gauge
  • Torque wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe cutter and flaring tool
  • Leak detector

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Select Installation Location: Choose a location with proper structural support, away from heat sources, and with adequate clearance for airflow and maintenance.
  2. Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Securely mount the bracket to the wall using appropriate anchors, ensuring it is perfectly level.
  3. Drill Wall Hole: Drill a 70mm hole through the wall at a slight downward angle to the outside for proper drainage.
  4. Install Outdoor Unit: Place the outdoor unit on a stable, level surface with proper vibration isolation pads and adequate clearance.
  5. Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation and using flare connections with torque specifications.
  6. Electrical Connection: Connect power cables according to local electrical codes, ensuring proper grounding and circuit protection.
  7. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate the system using a vacuum pump, then charge with the specified amount of refrigerant.
  8. Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and remote control operation.
Warning: Installation must be performed by certified HVAC technicians only. Improper installation can cause equipment damage, reduced efficiency, and void warranty.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not turning on Power issue, circuit breaker tripped, remote control batteries dead Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, low refrigerant, blocked airflow Clean filters, check for refrigerant leaks, clear obstructions
Water leaking indoors Clogged drain pipe, improper installation angle Clear drain pipe, ensure proper installation slope
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration Tighten mounting hardware, clean fan blades, check installation
Frozen indoor unit Dirty filters, low refrigerant, fan motor issue Clean filters, check refrigerant charge, inspect fan motor
Remote not working Batteries dead, signal blocked, sensor issue Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check sensor
