Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Drill with hole saw attachment
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Adjustable wrench
- Tape measure
- Vacuum pump and gauge manifold
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper wall support, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, with adequate clearance for airflow.
- Mount Indoor Unit Bracket: Securely mount the indoor unit mounting plate to the wall using appropriate anchors and screws.
- Create Wall Opening: Drill a 3-inch hole through the wall for refrigerant lines and drainage hose, ensuring proper slope for drainage.
- Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on stable, level surface with proper vibration pads and minimum 12-inch clearance on all sides.
- Connect Refrigerant Lines: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation and leak-free connections.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to dedicated circuit with proper grounding according to local electrical codes.
- Vacuum and Charge System: Evacuate air and moisture from refrigerant lines, then charge with specified amount of refrigerant.
- Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and thermostat operation.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit won't turn on | Power issue, remote control batteries dead, circuit breaker tripped | Check power supply, replace remote batteries, reset circuit breaker |
| Poor cooling/heating | Dirty filters, blocked airflow, refrigerant leak, incorrect mode | Clean filters, clear obstructions, check for leaks, verify mode setting |
| Water leaking indoors | Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope, frozen evaporator | Clear drain pipe, check installation angle, defrost unit |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration from unstable mounting | Tighten all screws, clean fan blades, secure mounting |
| Foul odors | Dirty filters, mold growth in drain pan, accumulated dust | Clean filters and drain pan, run self-cleaning cycle |
| Remote not working | Dead batteries, signal obstruction, remote sensor issue | Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check sensor window |
