Initial Setup:

  • Insert batteries correctly (observe +/- polarity)
  • Remove battery insulation tab if present
  • Point remote directly at AC unit's signal receiver
  • Ensure clear line of sight (no obstructions)
  • Keep distance within 7 meters

Step-by-Step Setup & Pairing

  1. Battery Installation: Open battery compartment, insert 2 AAA batteries (1.5V) with correct polarity as indicated.
  2. Power On: Ensure air conditioner is plugged in and powered on at the main unit.
  3. Remote Pairing: For smart remotes, follow auto-pairing procedure or manual code entry as per model.
  4. Signal Test: Point remote at AC unit and press any button. Check if unit responds with a beep or indicator light.
  5. Function Verification: Test basic functions: Power On/Off, Temperature Up/Down, Mode selection.
  6. Advanced Setup: Configure timer, sleep mode, fan speed, and swing settings according to preference.
  7. Final Check: Ensure all buttons respond correctly and the display is clear and readable.
Important: Use only fresh alkaline batteries. Remove batteries if remote will not be used for extended periods to prevent leakage damage.
