Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit not starting | Power issue, thermostat setting, circuit breaker | Check power supply, verify thermostat settings, reset circuit breaker |
| Poor cooling/heating | Dirty filters, low refrigerant, blocked vents | Clean filters, check for refrigerant leaks, ensure vents are unobstructed |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration | Tighten all fasteners, clear debris from fan, check mounting |
| Water leakage | Clogged drain line, improper installation | Clear drain line, ensure proper slope and drainage |
| Frozen coils | Low airflow, low refrigerant, dirty filters | Check filters, verify refrigerant charge, ensure proper airflow |
| High energy consumption | Dirty filters, thermostat settings, poor insulation | Clean filters, adjust thermostat, check home insulation |
