Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not starting Power issue, thermostat setting, circuit breaker Check power supply, verify thermostat settings, reset circuit breaker
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, low refrigerant, blocked vents Clean filters, check for refrigerant leaks, ensure vents are unobstructed
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration Tighten all fasteners, clear debris from fan, check mounting
Water leakage Clogged drain line, improper installation Clear drain line, ensure proper slope and drainage
Frozen coils Low airflow, low refrigerant, dirty filters Check filters, verify refrigerant charge, ensure proper airflow
High energy consumption Dirty filters, thermostat settings, poor insulation Clean filters, adjust thermostat, check home insulation

Error Codes

  • E1: Room temperature sensor fault - Check sensor connection
  • E2: Pipe temperature sensor fault - Check sensor connection
  • E3: High pressure protection - Check for blockage or overcharge
  • E4: Low pressure protection - Check for leaks or undercharge
  • E5: Compressor overload - Check electrical connections
  • E6: Communication error - Check wiring between units
  • E7: Outdoor fan motor fault - Check fan motor and capacitor
  • E8: Four-way valve fault - Check valve operation
